CE Week and Digital DUMBO Summer Camp Kickoff
Sonar finished June strong with two awesome events!
Last Wednesday and Thursday, we were at CE Week, demoing our app, handing out stickers, and spreading the Subby love. It was awesome rubbing elbows with big names from the tech industry and meeting our fans! One of our favorite parts of the event was the energy and enthusiasm - we made some new friends who downloaded Sonar on the spot or asked for the Android beta code. (Interested in one yourself? At CE Week, Sonar was also picked to be part of the Eureka Park Challenge, and was featured in this neat video. Though we didn’t win, we’re extremely grateful for all of you who showed your support by voting!
Thursday evening, we headed over to Brooklyn for the first day of summer camp! Sonar and UKTI hosted the Digital DUMBO Summer Camp Kickoff, complete with s’mores, camp counselors, new friendships, and Sonar engineers - Roger and Ben - in matching outfits. Campers (you guys!) and camp counselors (us!) mingled over games and drinks. Thanks to everyone who came out - we hope you had as much fun as we did!
